Max: First Day of School

Max had a great first week of school (started a month ago). He is going to the same preschool as last year. We love Lifepoint for many reasons. For one thing, it is small enough so the director and teachers know most of the kids. Secondly, it is a half mile from my house. Score. I appreciate that Max is being prepared for kindergarten but also spiritually. Lifepoint does a wonderful job teaching biblical principles and themes. Max looks forward to going every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to see his teachers and friends. It was sad for me at first but it has become easier each week. His teachers this year are Ms. Darla and Ms. Lynaea...they are fabulous! Due to school, I have been able to spend more one on one time with Cora. She started Kindermusik a few weeks ago and LOVES it. I am not surprised. The girl loves music and socializing...perfect fit. While the other kids are sitting in their mom's laps, Cora is clapping in the center. She cracks me up:). More on my princess later. Overall I am greatful that Max loves school, has made friends, and seems to be learning. I do enjoy doing "mommy school" with him at home but it has become more difficult with two kids to focus on. We are blessed to have preschool as an option!
