Cora's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Cora's birthday last night. Due to all the celebrations with her homecoming, we kept her party low-key with our families. The theme was turquoise and pink with a splash of butterflies....just like her bedroom. MiMi once again made the party perfect with a beautiful cake and a smash cake. My mom made a lot of the food so I really just bought a few other food items and the decorations (THANK YOU MOMS!). We ate dinner, watched Cora's adoption video Kyle and I made, sang happy birthday complete with smash cake action, and topped it off with the big kiddos/cousins busting open a pinata. My favorite part of the night was watching Cora dig into her smash cake and then cheer for herself. She is such a ham! Overall, we are so grateful for our family's unending support and love....and most of all that we were able to celebrate Cora's birthday as a family of four. We are blessed!
