Big Boy Room

The time has come to move Max into his big boy room. Sniff sniff tear tear. I cannot believe my little man is ready to move out of his crib. Time flies when you are having fun. We made decorating his room and family project. Kyle, Max, and I picked things out and painted (Kyle painted while Max and I "supervised") the room together. As mentioned earlier, the theme of the room is Star Wars. Kyle and I joke that we became smitten over our love of movies, specifically the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre. We both grew up watching Star Wars so it was a no-brainer when we walked in to Pottery Barn Kids and saw a wall full of Star Wars memorabilia and bedding. Etsy also turned out to be a wonderful place to find personalized and vintage items to compliment our other purchases. We are waiting on a giant decal of an AT Walker to go on the wall next to his bed. Other than that the room is complete. My favorite item has to be the bedding. It was the inspiration behind the entire room. Max will officially try out his new digs on Friday night. Cheers to my big boy!
