Care Packages
Nothing beats a little retail therapy when it comes to dealing with the waiting game played during the court process. We are blessed to be able to send over care packages to Chieh Chieh and her foster parents. We mailed one soon after our referral full of clothes and toys. One specific item we included was a lovey similar to Max's (a pink thumby blanket from PB Kids). We hope she attaches to something...a stuffed toy or blanket so she will have a familiar comfort to bring with her during the transition home.
I sent care package two this week containing a few outfits (one from Yia Yia :)) and two soft toys. Somehow this makes Kyle and I feel closer to our sweet girl. Hopefully we will receive some new pictures in a few weeks. In all honesty the wait is always pressing on me. When we will bring her home? How is she doing? From what I know about the foster parents that work for our partner organization in Taiwan, she is loved and cared for. What a blessing! I included a card to Chieh Chieh's foster parents...it was written in English. I am hoping someone will translate it to them. It was brief but in reality I wanted to write a novel thanking them for all they have done and will do for our precious baby girl. For now and instead, I am readying package three!
