Pool Party and Eating

Yesterday sweet Cora had her first pool experience at MiMi and Poppity's house. She did really well! She took awhile to feel completely at ease but then was splashing over my shoulder by the end. I think she was in awe of watching her bro and cousins jump in and make so many waves. Overall, I will say it again...we are just in awe of her resilience. She has taken so many changes like a champ. She is showing more and more opinion...which is good. It means she is feeling attached to Kyle and me and her familiar surroundings. One thing that she has begun to do is clench her mouth shut when we try to feed her solids. She has developed an oral aversion that we are going to have to address with therapy. We have been referred to a wonderful place with a phenomenal reputation. We believe with time, therapy, and love...Miss Cora will overcome this. It is difficult not to stress about her eating because we need her to eat more not less. Her digestive system is slow moving and it could be in part due to her heart condition. Only time and doctors will be able to help us pinpoint the reason. We have enjoyed our family time over this weekend and are gearing up for the big test tomorrow. My mom is coming with me (thanks mom!!!) and Max's favorite babysitter, Morgan, is coming over to watch him. Kyle and I have been blessed with a ton help and support and do not take it for granted!
